Fernando invited me to visit with a friend who were having a Cabalgata . This is one big afternoon party where about 125-50 guests are invited to his ranch, and most truck their personally owned horses to the party! The majority of these horses are the South American variety known as "Pasofino"and others they refer to as "trotters".Fernando currently has a stable of 13. Being an in-experienced rider, he allowed me to ride a very gentile mare, who still provided challenges, because she was the type that wants to be in the front of the entire brigade! None-the-less we made the 3 1/2 half hour trail ride in good shape and remained friends through-out. You can see me in action on horse back!
These guys do all the work preparing, while lunch is served!
